I really do like this brush. My cat will only sit still for brushing with any brush for a couple of minutes, but this one is the only thing I have found that would get rid of the clumps of matted hair she had. It took a number of times before we finally got them all out, but now, just a quick brushing with it occasionally keeps them from forming again.
I like the fact that just a little push of a button cleans the hair from the brush too.

This is a great product. I have searched for quite a while and find this to be one of the best. The hair just peels off the flat surface. It cuts down on your time grooming that is for sure.

Our two Standard Poodles have always been reluctant about brushing. This brush has changed all that. Leveraging the curved head (using short, progressively deeper strokes), this brush quickly removes tangles. And clean up could not be easier. Our Poodles now actually enjoy being brushed!

LOVE THIS BRUSH!!! i have a white German shepherd and i could not find a brush that got the undercoat off, he shed so much that the carpet looked liked a ski slope! and when ever i scratched his back i thought it was snowing but after using this there is a marked improvement. it was a little difficult to use the cleaning function at first, you need to pull the lever out a little befor you can retract the brush. as for the person the said it did not work on there cat i say READ THE DESCRIPTION! Evolution Self-Cleaning Slicker Brush for " DOG'S " it is way to big for cats anyway!
