Product Description
Top Secret Adventures Unveiled Within!
Forest the ferret is the subject of the adventures in this book. Forest enjoys being outside and running wild in the snow (of course he is supervised by James his owner). Forest often runs when he is excited, which is why the business and the website are named Ferrets Run Wild! In this story, Forest the ferret experiences the excitement of his first snow. Come outside with Forest and see his adventures in the snow! In the second story, Forest's Cottage, Forest the ferret visits his cottage on the pond. He discovers a wilder world in the woods, fields, and along the shore. Visit Forest the ferret at www.ferretsrunwild.com.

| Customer Reviews: Recommended for the story and the pictures! February 20, 2008 James E. Potvin (Michigan) 2 out of 4 found this review helpful
The Adventures of Forest the Ferret is actually two stories in one book. The first story is about Forest's first snowfall. In this story, Forest the ferret goes outside to experience the feeling of snow. The story is also illustrated using real life digital pictures of Forest the ferret in the snow. The second story is about Forest's cottage. In this story, Forest the ferret explores the area around his cabin on the pond and finds signs from other animals in the area. This story is also illustrated with digital pictures of Forest's adventures. I recommend the book for both its stories and its real life pictures.
forest the ferret review March 12, 2008 E. Moylan (Gaylord, MI) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
The great thing about this book are the real photos rather than drawings. My 15 month old daughter loves looking at them! The detailed description of everything Forest the Ferret sees and does makes you feel like you're right there watching him play. The second story in the book introduces children to the wilderness. I like how the author gives informational tidbits throughout the story. It opens the door for further discussion with kids as to what they might see, hear, etc in the woods. (Maybe even get kids outside exploring and creating their own adventures!)
